A nombre de los matamorenses, el Alcalde Mario L\u00f3pez recibi\u00f3 un presente otorgado por Sergio Coronado, quien en su explicaci\u00f3n mencion\u00f3 que se decidi\u00f3 incluir un peque\u00f1o racimo de algod\u00f3n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En una ceremonia celebrada en Hidalgo, Texas, que fue encabezada por el Alcalde Mario Alberto L\u00f3pez Hern\u00e1ndez y el Mayor de esa ciudad, Sergio Coronado se otorg\u00f3 a Matamoros el t\u00edtulo de \u201cCiudad Hermana\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La reuni\u00f3n en donde las dos ciudades oficializaron su hermandad, tuvo lugar en la Presidencia Municipal de Hidalgo, Texas, ubicada en la calle Ram\u00f3n Ayala, esto, durante una ceremonia en la que el Presidente Municipal de Matamoros fue acompa\u00f1ado por el Secretario del Ayuntamiento, Carlos Ballesteros G\u00e1lvez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por parte de Hidalgo, Texas, estuvieron presentes los Comisionados: Abraham Ram\u00edrez, Augusto Contreras y Bertha Sosa;  tambi\u00e9n atestiguaron la entrega del citado t\u00edtulo, Juli\u00e1n Gonz\u00e1lez, gerente de la Ciudad; Linda Ayala, jefa de Asesores y Ren\u00e9 Avila, administrador de la Ciudad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A nombre de los matamorenses, el Alcalde Mario L\u00f3pez recibi\u00f3 un presente otorgado por Sergio Coronado, quien en su explicaci\u00f3n mencion\u00f3 que se decidi\u00f3 incluir un peque\u00f1o racimo de algod\u00f3n<\/a>, ya que este producto forma parte de la importante historia en ambas ciudades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
