El general David C\u00f3rdova Campos rindi\u00f3 protesta como nuevo comandante de la Guardia Nacional, tras el paso del general Luis Rodr\u00edguez Bucio a la Subsecretar\u00eda de Seguridad Ciudadana federal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La secretaria de Seguridad y Protecci\u00f3n Ciudadana, Rosa Icela Rodr\u00edguez, presidi\u00f3 la ceremonia llevada a cabo en el Campo Militar 1-A de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En el evento participaron el secretario de Gobernaci\u00f3n, Ad\u00e1n Augusto L\u00f3pez; el secretario de la Defensa Nacional, el general Luis Cresencio Sandoval; y el secretario de Marina, el almirante Jos\u00e9 Rafael Ojeda Dur\u00e1n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
David C\u00f3rdova Campos es general de Divisi\u00f3n Diplomado de Estado Mayor retirado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Originario de San Luis R\u00edo Colorado, Sonora, cuenta con una maestr\u00eda en Administraci\u00f3n Militar para la Seguridad y Defensa Nacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ha sido comandante de la V Regi\u00f3n Militar, de la 39 Zona Militar, as\u00ed como del 66 y del 29 Batall\u00f3n de Infanter\u00eda, adem\u00e1s de la Guarnici\u00f3n Militar de Matamoros, Tamaulipas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Asimismo, ha sido oficial mayor de la Secretar\u00eda de la Defensa Nacional. En Estado Mayor trabaj\u00f3 como subjefe administrativo y log\u00edstico, as\u00ed como subjefe operativo. Igualmente, jefe de Estado Mayor en las zonas militares 16, 38 y 43.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Entre 1996 y 1998 fue agregado militar y a\u00e9reo adjunto en las embajadas de M\u00e9xico en Francia, B\u00e9lgica y Pa\u00edses Bajos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hasta antes de ser nombrado comandante de la Guardia Nacional fung\u00eda como director t\u00e9cnico de Prestaciones del Instituto de Seguridad Social para las Fuerzas Armadas Mexicanas (Issfam).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
