Esta ma\u00f1ana el Alcalde Mario Alberto L\u00f3pez Hern\u00e1ndez entreg\u00f3 reconocimientos a los Deportistas del A\u00f1o y a las glorias del deporte, que por sus trayectorias deportivas fueron electos para ser entronizados en el Sal\u00f3n de la Fama \u201cMatamoros, Nuestro Orgullo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

En presencia de Manuel Raga Navarro, reconocido exjugador de baloncesto y hoy Director del Instituto del Deporte en Tamaulipas, el Presidente Municipal entreg\u00f3 reconocimientos a los entronizados al Sal\u00f3n de la Fama: Ernesto \u201cZurdo\u201d Ortega Cabrera, por sus trayectoria en beisbol, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n a Alberto Faz \u201cYaki\u201d Ju\u00e1rez, en lucha libre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como Deportistas del A\u00f1o, recibieron reconocimiento: Gloria Patricia Ponce Gonz\u00e1lez y Eduardo Garc\u00eda N\u00fa\u00f1ez, con grandes logros en softbol y luchas asociadas, respectivamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al dirigirse a los asistentes, entre ellos, padres de familia de los deportistas, familia de las glorias del deporte, integrantes de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Cronistas Deportivos, integrantes del Cabildo y funcionarios municipales, el Alcalde L\u00f3pez Hern\u00e1ndez manifest\u00f3 el orgullo para Matamoros de contar con destacados deportistas.<\/p>\n\n\n

A los deportistas entronizados al Sal\u00f3n de la Fama, les dijo que son hombres que tienen un valor agregado porque adem\u00e1s de sus trayectorias deportivas y que est\u00e1n en la mente de los matamorenses, son hombres extraordinarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En tanto que a los Deportistas del A\u00f1o, los felicit\u00f3 y les pidi\u00f3 que se sigan esforzando, que sigan cumpliendo con el binomio que representa la educaci\u00f3n y el deporte y lograr\u00e1n ser exitosos en la vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
