\u201cDe repente el tiempo se detuvo, hubo la necesidad de tomar aire, respirar profundo, tuve la necesidad de hacer una pausa en mi vida\u201d.
As\u00ed relata Iris Fabiola Cedillo Escamilla de Calder\u00f3n, una hija, madre de familia y esposa, su experiencia, la cual comparti\u00f3 con mujeres, que como ella, han sobrevivido al c\u00e1ncer de mama.
Unidas como mujeres y reunidas en el auditorio del Sistema DIF Tamaulipas, la doctora Mar\u00eda de Villarreal, presidenta del organismo, comparti\u00f3 experiencias y sentimientos con quienes adem\u00e1s de Fabiola, han salido adelante ante esa enfermedad.
Ah\u00ed mismo y de manera personal, la presidenta estatal del DIF, les hizo entrega simb\u00f3lica de 11 pr\u00f3tesis de mama, a mujeres de los municipios de Bustamante, Padilla y Victoria de esta entidad, y que las requieren como parte de su proceso de recuperaci\u00f3n.
\u201cLas felicito por toda su lucha, su esfuerzo que han hecho y que han logrado ya, y que ahora dan un paso m\u00e1s a seguir en ese camino, que les puso la vida de un desaf\u00edo y que lo han superado\u201d, les dijo Mar\u00eda de Villarreal a las presentes, quienes aprovecharon la ocasi\u00f3n, para agradecer la sensibilidad, empat\u00eda y el amor con que se les trata en esa instituci\u00f3n.
Dichas pr\u00f3tesis fueron donadas por la asociaci\u00f3n \u201cEduC\u00e1ncer OM, A.C.\u201d, con el prop\u00f3sito de atender la demanda de todas las mujeres, que con anticipaci\u00f3n hicieron su petici\u00f3n a \u00e9ste organismo de asistencia social.
De \u00e9sta manera contin\u00faan las actividades del mes rosa en el DIF Tamaulipas, dedicado a la concientizaci\u00f3n sobre el c\u00e1ncer de mama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
