Reportes preliminares se\u00f1alaron que el accidente automovil\u00edstico en donde falleci\u00f3 el senador Faustino L\u00f3pez y su esposa Pilar Hern\u00e1ndez se debi\u00f3 a una ponchadura de llanta.
El autom\u00f3vil, un Mazda con placas LYY7658, era conducido por un hombre identificado como Ad\u00e1n Michel Morales, secretario particular del senador, quien aparentemente perdi\u00f3 el control de su veh\u00edculo cuando se le ponch\u00f3 la llanta.
Se dirig\u00edan a la ciudad de Zacatecas para asistir al Cuarto Informe de Actividades Legislativas de la senadora Soledad Lu\u00e9vano, quien a ra\u00edz de esta situaci\u00f3n cancel\u00f3 su evento que se realizar\u00eda en el Teatro Fernando Calder\u00f3n.
