La\u00a0Polic\u00eda de Nueva York\u00a0dispar\u00f3 este lunes en la tur\u00edstica plaza de\u00a0Times Square\u00a0a una mujer que apu\u00f1al\u00f3 a dos personas y las dej\u00f3 heridas de gravedad, seg\u00fan medios locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La atacante, que aparentemente ten\u00eda problemas de salud mental, y las dos v\u00edctimas han sido trasladadas a un hospital con heridas mortales, indica el canal ABC7, que cita fuentes policiales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Las autoridades investigan el incidente, que inicialmente fue reportado como un\u00a0robo armado, pero ahora apunta a que fue aleatorio y relacionado con la salud mental de la atacante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El suceso tuvo lugar en pleno\u00a0Times Square, cerca de la calle 42 y la\u00a0S\u00e9ptima Avenida, una zona habitualmente concurrida de turistas, y que fue cerrada al p\u00fablico temporalmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Las v\u00edctimas son un hombre y una mujer, pero las autoridades no han dado m\u00e1s datos sobre ellos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seg\u00fan se observa en v\u00eddeos de testigos publicados en X, la atacante se acerc\u00f3 blandiendo dos cuchillos a un grupo de agentes que le ordenaban soltar las armas, tras lo que le dispararon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Un testigo dijo al canal Pix11 que la mujer recibi\u00f3 primero una descarga de una pistola taser y, despu\u00e9s de amenazar a los agentes, dos disparos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
