Los oficiales de Aduanas y Protecci\u00f3n Fronteriza en el Puente Internacional Gateway interceptaron presuntos narc\u00f3ticos en dos acciones policiacas separadas que tienen un valor combinado estimado en la calle de 306 mil 427 d\u00f3lares<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCada incautaci\u00f3n de drogas, grande o peque\u00f1a, ayuda a mantener nuestras fronteras seguras y es una carga menos que llega a nuestras calles,\u201d dijo el director de la corporaci\u00f3n, Tater Ortiz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El primer decomiso tuvo lugar el mi\u00e9rcoles, 21 de septiembre, en el Puente Nuevo Internacional \u201cGateway\u201d, cuando un ciudadano mexicano de 25 a\u00f1os de edad que reside en Matamoros, intent\u00f3 ingresar a Estados Unidos conduciendo un vehiculo Ford 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El veh\u00edculo fue remitido a una inspecci\u00f3n secundaria para un examen m\u00e1s detenido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mientras se encontraban en el \u00e1rea de inspecci\u00f3n secundaria, con la ayuda de un sistema de inspecci\u00f3n no intrusivo y una unidad canina, los oficiales de CBP descubrieron un paquete escondido dentro del veh\u00edculo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Encontraron dentro de la unidad, un paquete que conten\u00eda un total de 2.31 libras de supuesta coca\u00edna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La segunda incautaci\u00f3n tuvo lugar el s\u00e1bado 24 de septiembre, tambi\u00e9n en el cruce antes mencionado, cuando una ciudadana estadounidense de 40 a\u00f1os que reside en Brownsville, intent\u00f3 ingresar a Estados Unidos conduciendo un Chevrolet 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El veh\u00edculo fue remitido a una inspecci\u00f3n secundaria para un examen m\u00e1s detenido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ah\u00ed le descubrieron nueve paquetes escondidos dentro del veh\u00edculo. Los oficiales de CBP retiraron los paquetes que conten\u00edan un total de 20.63 libras de supuesta coca\u00edna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El valor estimado en la calle de los narc\u00f3ticos de las incautaciones es de aproximadamente 30 mil 907 d\u00f3lares y 275 mil 520, respectivamente.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
