La Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS) dio a conocer que Uganda declar\u00f3 un brote de \u00e9bola, luego de que se confirmara un caso de la cepa relativamente rara de Sud\u00e1n en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A trav\u00e9s de un comunicado emitido por la oficina de \u00c1frica de la OMS, se mencion\u00f3 que el caso se confirm\u00f3 despu\u00e9s de analizar una muestra de un hombre de 24 a\u00f1os en el distrito Mubende del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
el Dr. Kyobe Henry Bbosa, comandante de Incidentes de \u00c9bola en el Ministerio de Salud de Uganda, indic\u00f3 que: \u201cAl d\u00eda de hoy, tenemos siete casos confirmados, de los cuales tenemos una muerte confirmada\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPero tambi\u00e9n tenemos siete casos probables que murieron antes de la confirmaci\u00f3n del brote\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adem\u00e1s, la OMS indic\u00f3 que est\u00e1 ayudando a las autoridades sanitarias de Uganda con la investigaci\u00f3n y el despliegue de personal en el \u00e1rea afectada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
