En un acto presidido por el alcalde Beto Granados, autoridades municipales y la comunidad escolar se reunieron en la escuela primaria Celedonio Junco de la Vega para rendir honores a la bandera y recordar el legado de Rigo Tovar, reconocido cantante y compositor matamorense. La ceremonia marc\u00f3 el inicio de una serie de actividades organizadas por el gobierno local en honor a su trayectoria musical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Durante su intervenci\u00f3n, el alcalde destac\u00f3 que Rigo Tovar curs\u00f3 su educaci\u00f3n primaria en esta instituci\u00f3n y que, con el paso del tiempo, se convirti\u00f3 en una leyenda de la m\u00fasica mexicana. Sus conciertos rompieron r\u00e9cords de asistencia y sus discos vendieron millones de copias, consolid\u00e1ndolo como un \u00edcono nacional. Adem\u00e1s, subray\u00f3 que el artista siempre llev\u00f3 a Matamoros en su coraz\u00f3n, mencionando con orgullo a su ciudad y a la playa Bagdad en sus canciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Como parte del homenaje, Granados F\u00e1vila resalt\u00f3 la importancia de preservar la memoria y el legado cultural de Rigo Tovar. Durante la semana, se desarrollar\u00e1n diversas actividades conmemorativas, tales como presentaciones musicales, exposiciones y charlas sobre su vida y obra, con el objetivo de que las nuevas generaciones conozcan y valoren su contribuci\u00f3n a la m\u00fasica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El evento en la primaria Celedonio Junco de la Vega permiti\u00f3 a los asistentes recorrer los pasillos y salones donde Rigo Tovar pas\u00f3 su infancia.
