Los propietarios de Abby’s Bakery en Los Fresnos fueron arrestados despu\u00e9s de que ocho inmigrantes indocumentados fueron localizados y detenidos en su panader\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Abby’s Bakery, ubicado en el n\u00famero 417 W. Ocean Boulevard., permanece cerrado tras la detenci\u00f3n de los propietarios Leonardo B\u00e1ez y Nora Alicia \u00c1vila-Guel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ellos hicieron una comparecencia ante el tribunal este jueves y est\u00e1n detenidos sin fianza por cargos de albergar a inmigrantes indocumentados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Un portavoz del Servicio de Inmigraci\u00f3n y Control de Aduanas de Estados Unidos, confirm\u00f3 que las detenciones se realizaron despu\u00e9s de que los agentes de ICE llevaran a cabo una “acci\u00f3n de aplicaci\u00f3n en el lugar de trabajo” en la panader\u00eda el mi\u00e9rcoles, 12 de febrero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La denuncia revela que ocho migrantes fueron detenidos durante esa operaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seg\u00fan la denuncia, B\u00e1ez y \u00c1vila-Guel “admitieron que sab\u00edan que los migrantes se encontraban ilegalmente en Estados Unidos, violando la ley y los albergaron en su propiedad personal”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dos migrantes actuaron como testigos materiales y admitieron que B\u00e1ez y \u00c1vila-Guel conoc\u00edan su situaci\u00f3n legal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
