El desfile, que data de 1762 y re\u00fane a unas 150 mil personas en su comitiva, parti\u00f3 a las 11 de la ma\u00f1ana desde el centro de Manhattan y recorri\u00f3 la Quinta Avenida, pasando por la Catedral de San Patricio, hasta el barrio del Upper East Side, paralelo a Central Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Las autoridades estiman que unos dos millones de personas salen a las calles a ver a la comitiva, encabezada este a\u00f1o por la m\u00e1xima ejecutiva de la empresa de cerveza Heineken USA, Margaret Timoney, y por el arzobispo cat\u00f3lico de Nueva York, Timothy Dolan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
