Este viernes 1 de marzo, en las inmediaciones del Puente Nuevo Internacional se realizar\u00e1 la ceremonia del saludo binacional entre las autoridades de Matamoros y de Brownsville, Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El tradicional abrazo entre ambas autoridades se llevar\u00e1 a cabo a las 10:00 horas contando con la presencia de los invitados especiales por Matamoros, Jerry Baz\u00faa, Nelson Ter\u00e1n, el Arquitecto Manuel Robledo, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n estar\u00e1 presente \u201cMr. Amigo\u201d Eduardo Ver\u00e1stegui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Los cantantes Jerry Baz\u00faa y Nelson Ter\u00e1n fueron nombrados como \u201cHu\u00e9sped Distinguido\u201d y \u201cOrgullo Matamorense\u201d respectivamente, en tanto que el Arquitecto Manuel Robledo, fue designado como \u201cAmigo de Matamoros\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Las tradicionales fiestas que se celebran en esta frontera desde hace 88 a\u00f1os, y que anualmente se unen a las Fiestas del Charro de Brownsville, Texas, representan la oportunidad de dos pueblos que se coordinan para abrir un espacio com\u00fan de convivencia, compartir tradiciones y estrechar lazos de amistad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
