Carlos III ser\u00e1 proclamado formalmente como nuevo rey este s\u00e1bado en el palacio de St James de Londres por el Consejo de Ascensi\u00f3n, un \u00f3rgano ceremonial hist\u00f3rico que se re\u00fane para designar a cada uno de los nuevos monarcas del Reino Unido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A las 9:00 h GMT comenzar\u00e1 la ceremonia del Consejo de Ascensi\u00f3n, a la que asistir\u00e1n algunas de las principales figuras pol\u00edticas y sociales del Reino Unido, incluido el pr\u00edncipe de Gales, Guillermo, y la primera ministra, Liz Truss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La presidenta del Consejo Privado del rey, Penny Mourdaunt, dirigir\u00e1 el acto, televisado por primera vez en la historia, en el que se comunicar\u00e1 oficialmente la muerte de Isabel II y se proclamar\u00e1 de manera formal a Carlos III como rey -aunque asumi\u00f3 el cargo autom\u00e1ticamente al morir su madre el pasado jueves-.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En una segunda parte de la ceremonia, el monarca, de 73 a\u00f1os, har\u00e1 una intervenci\u00f3n, leer\u00e1 y firmar\u00e1 un juramento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sobre las 10:00 h GMT, fanfarrias de trompetas acompa\u00f1ar\u00e1n a la primera lectura p\u00fablica del texto de la Proclamaci\u00f3n de Carlos III desde un balc\u00f3n del palacio de St James.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Salvas de ca\u00f1\u00f3n saludar\u00e1n al mismo tiempo la ascensi\u00f3n al trono del nuevo rey desde Hyde Park y la Torre de Londres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
