El Gobierno de Matamoros a trav\u00e9s de la Secretar\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n, Cultura y Deporte rindi\u00f3 un homenaje p\u00f3stumo al maestro Juan Francisco Batalla Bahena, por su brillante trayectoria art\u00edstica, su valioso trabajo como formador y promotor de la m\u00fasica acad\u00e9mica en esta ciudad y por el compromiso social que siempre demostr\u00f3 sirviendo a su comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el homenaje al que asisti\u00f3 con la representaci\u00f3n del alcalde Mario Alberto L\u00f3pez Hern\u00e1ndez, la secretaria de Educaci\u00f3n, Cultura y Deporte, Genoveva Hi Gonz\u00e1lez, tambi\u00e9n estuvieron presentes integrantes de la familia del maestro Batalla, entre ellos, su viuda Carolina de la Cruz Torres y sus hijas Paola Carolina, Giselle Alejandra y Cecilia Daniela Batalla de la Cruz.<\/p>\n\n\n

Los ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes que el maestro Batalla form\u00f3 y que hoy integran la Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica Infantil y Juvenil presentaron un magistral concierto en el Teatro de la Reforma, enmarcado en el homenaje de quien fue su mentor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integrantes del Cabildo, funcionarios municipales, representantes de los diferentes patronatos culturales, asociaciones civiles, grupos colectivos, comunidad art\u00edstica, medios de comunicaci\u00f3n y p\u00fablico en general tambi\u00e9n formaron parte del emotivo homenaje p\u00f3stumo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y con la representaci\u00f3n del Alcalde Mario L\u00f3pez, la titular de la Secude, Genoveva Hi Gonz\u00e1lez y la Directora de Cultura Larisa L\u00f3pez Carrillo  entregaron un reconocimiento p\u00f3stumo a la viuda del Mtro.
