El Departamento de Seguridad Nacional, anunci\u00f3 la concesi\u00f3n de 77 millones de d\u00f3lares en subvenciones para apoyar a comunidades fronterizas y del interior de Estados Unidos que reciben migrantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Su\u00a0comunicado\u00a0precis\u00f3 que 53 ciudades, estados y organizaciones, como el banco de comida de San Antonio o la asociaci\u00f3n baptista de El Paso, los dos en Texas, se beneficiar\u00e1n de esas ayudas para cubrir el refugio temporal y otros gastos en los que se incurren mientras los migrantes tramitan su situaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La cifra se suma a los 290 millones dirigidos en junio al Programa de Subvenciones de Refugio y Servicios (SSP) y eleva a 770 millones el total a lo largo del a\u00f1o, otorgado a 69 ciudades, estados y agencias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
