#BrownsvilleTX\/El Departamento de Policia de Brownsville identifico a George \u00c1lvarez, como el responsable de haber atropellado de muerte a 7 migrantes y dejar heridos a otro grupo de hasta 15 venecos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fueron elementos de esta corporaci\u00f3n que casi de inmediato lograron la detenci\u00f3n del presunto responsable.<\/p>\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, trascendi\u00f3 que en el a\u00f1o 2005, cuando ten\u00eda17 a\u00f1os de edad fue acusado de agredir a un oficial de polic\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De acuerdo a una investigaci\u00f3n fue \u201cobligado\u201d a aceptar un trato de \u201cLibertad Condicional\u201d que eventualmente lo condujo a una sentencia de prisi\u00f3n de ocho a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A la mitad de su sentencia se descubri\u00f3 un video del departamento interno de los oficiales del Departamento de Polic\u00eda de Brownsville mintiendo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por lo que demand\u00f3 a la ciudad de Brownsville y gan\u00f3 dos millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n\n\n

Pero dado que accedi\u00f3 a declararse culpable, el Tribunal del Quinto Circuito dictamin\u00f3 que el Departamento de Polic\u00eda de Brownsville no era responsable de su declaraci\u00f3n il\u00edcita y revoc\u00f3 la sentencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c1lvarez estaba bajo la influencia del alcohol o las drogas cuando sucedi\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eso puede explicar por qu\u00e9 no quiso cooperar con la investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por lo pronto ha quedado detenido y podr\u00eda enfrentar varios cargos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
