El incidente ocurri\u00f3 a las 8:30 a.m. cerca de Minnesota Road y North Bernal Road en la ciudad de Brownsville, frente al Centro Ozanam, el cual es un refugio para migrantes y personas sin hogar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El teniente del departamento de Polic\u00eda de Brownsvillehttp:\/\/brownwvillepd.com<\/a>, Mart\u00edn Sandoval, dijo que siete v\u00edctimas murieron en el lugar y otras personas, fueron trasladadas a hospitales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandoval dijo que el conductor fue arrestado acusado de conducci\u00f3n imprudente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandoval dijo que es probable que se presenten m\u00e1s cargos, toda vez que parece m\u00e1s a un acto intencional.<\/p>\n\n\n

Sandoval dijo que el \u00e1rea permanecer\u00e1 cerrada por varias horas m\u00e1s a todo el tr\u00e1fico y los oficiales est\u00e1n pidiendo a los conductores que busquen rutas alternativas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cabe mencionar que la ciudad texana de Brownsville, es la frontera sur del estado de Texas y colinda con Matamoros, Tamaulipas en donde desde hace vario a\u00f1os han llegado migrantes de diversas nacionalidades pretendiendo ingresar a territorio norteamericano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
